All of these selections are from a mix CD I’ve been building for a while called “Motivational Speakers.” All music I find somehow inspirational or useful for getting myself moving. (Psychologically–I am not a dancer.)

I’ve always been sorry that this guy (Carl Stevenson) wasn’t better known, because the song is stunning. (Fun fact: Beck’s “Mellow Gold” album was mostly recorded in his living room.)
