Late-Night Liberty: Hair Coloring Edition

While I am brave on certain beauty makeovers and repertoires like tattoos, body piercings and waxing, I am a chicken when it comes to my hair.

It is the physical trait I am most proud of. People stick their heads out of car windows to compliment me on my long curly mane. Not surprisingly, I rarely do anything to it.

I have had it highlighted before, but so subtly that no one could tell I had it done. I don't think I would have allowed my stylist to go any lighter.

So I was intrigued by this MSN Lifestyle on whether to go blonde or brunette. Here is a short clip of the article:

Go blonde if you...
Have lots of pink in your skin....

Want to cut your hair short....

Need a lift....

Go brunette if you...
Have very thin hair...

Have an olive complexion...

Can't deal with high-maintenance hair

There were detailed explanations for each point.

Perhaps the day my hair falls off or dramatically changes with age I will do something to it. In the meantime, long and dark it is.

Do you dye your hair? How do you go about picking the color?
