I am torn over whether to see Bush's statements today as a good sign or a bad one. I would be charitable and see it as a GOOD sign because he really seems to have gone over the deep end with his refusal to let Rove and Miers be under oath when they go over the Attorney-gate because... why? Because the President can't have his advisors be afraid of accountability? Is anyone BUYING this? Seriously? Secret government meetings where the elected officials and their advisors shouldn't EVER be held accountable to the PEOPLE in a DEMOCRACY? We're not asking to bug the oval office here, we're asking for the testimony to be under oath so we can stop being lied to, right? Oh I can't stand it! Everyone can see through this, right????  It's so ridiculous, people must know it's crap!
