What's up?

In case you missed it, Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-Michigan) stood up to Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Arizona) who did not want a requirement for maternity care in health insurance reform. MomsRising is circulating a petition, thanking Sen. Stabenow for standing up for women's health -- and rights.

I admit that I do not read the blog the Brazen Careerist, although I have heard moderator Penelope Trunk speak at the BlogHer conference and often see her name mentioned in the media. Most recently, she got grief for this tweet she sent from a board meeting: "I'm in a board meeting. Having a miscarriage. Thank goodness, because there's a fucked up 3-week hoop-jump to have an abortion in Wisconsin." Not surprisingly, as many as 70 people unfollowed her on Twitter and people are talking about it, according to Salon's Tracy Clark-Flory. But Trunk has not said a word about it on her blog. Do any of you follow Trunk? What do you think?
