Things didn't go quite as planned, I was offered the opportunity to induce him on Friday, but as I mentioned in last weeks Weds open thread my OB said I wasn't going to make until Friday! And we were supposed to close on the house on Thus! Ah!! So, we called our attorney, changed to closing to Friday (we had a power of attorney set up so DH could sign everything on my behalf, and yes we are now home owners!! Yippy!), and get ready to have a baby on Thurs. Well, at first check I was already at 5-6 cm (I was 3 when checked the day before), the OB broke my water, after having sporadic contractions by 11:30, the OB wanted me up and walking. I did one lap of the maternity ward and started having contractions fast and hard. When we got back to my room I told the nurse I wanted an epidural. Well, after the OB checked me, he broke the news to me that I was too far along and by the time the anesthesiologist got there I'd be pushing already. Not what I wanted to hear. My birth plan for this delivery was an easy one: Epidural, epidural, epidural. Yeah, didn't happen. But thankfully, my OB, DH, and Nurses were awesome. They got me through it. I felt great shortly after delivery.

Justin is doing well. He is nursing like a champ. It is amazing how much easier it is the second time around. Jack is also doing great. He is taking to his new status of big brother like a duck takes to water. I am so proud of him! When I figure out how to do it I'll post a photo.
