April Baby Pool, anyone?

A number of our dear MTs are expecting babies in April - Littlepear, SwissClogs, Minnmom and Rocky, to name those I'm aware of. How about a baby pool to guess who's having what, when? I know from previous posts that SwissClogs is at 38 weeks with #2, but gave birth to DD at 36 weeks. Littlepear is 37 weeks, but at her last OB appointment, the little fella hadn't gone head down yet. Soooo... based on that, I'll say based on order of who's going to give birth first:

SwissClogs
Littlepear
Rocky
Minnmom

Any takers?! And who else is out there with babies due this month?

    Hmmm....baby's head not being down is not that significant after first pregnancies.  However, she's currently trying to put together a deal to buy a new house, correct?  I'm a believer that we can sometimes "block" labor, if you will, until we feel events around us are settled.  When are Rocky and Minnmom due, exactly?  Boy, SwissClogs is looking as if she might be first...

    since I wouldn't be surprised if she's already had her baby, or is having it right now.  Have I "seen" her?

    After that, hmmm...SwissClogs, Rocky, and Littlepear, just as a random guess?

    Due dates I managed to look up/deduce (they may be off by a couple of dates, but not much more):

    • littlepear: due April 24th with #2
    • minnmom: due April 15th with #2
    • Rocky: due April 28th with #2
    • SwissClogs: due April 17th with #2 (OK, I'd know that :-))

    I'm not aware of any others.

    But I am REALLY hoping to go earlier than 4/24. My mom has the a week of school vacation starting 4/18 and she's coming down to help me take care of DS/pack (hopefully!!)/clean etc. So, I am really hoping to go around 4/18 - 4/19.

    I saw this an laughed. It will definately be interesting to see who goes first. I also think it is interesting that we are all having our second babies.

    Seeing I am in the running I won't make any predictions. ;)

    thanks for beating me to it!

    Swissclogs got my due date right.  #1 was 4 days early, but this time around I think my due date from the u/s is early -- since I was traveling a lot for work and the math just doesn't work for the date they gave me (tmi?).  

    That said, at last appointment I was 35.5 weeks and measured 37cm so who knows.  I hope this one is early, otherwise it's going to be huge.  Maybe I should just pack up the 0-3 mo stuff now and pull out the 3-6...

    For what it's worth, I stop work at the end of next week so after that you will all start getting thoroughly sick of me as I try to entertain myself.

      I had no warning with #1 at all -- at my 39 wk appointment they told me to get comfy as we would discuss inducing the next week "there is no way this baby comes this week".  She was out in 24 hours, a very good indicator of her temperment.

    OK, my due date is 4/17, but they've given me a range of dates (4/16-4/22). Number 1 was a week early. Am resting a lot-- DH does not want me going into labor anytime soon since he has a lot of work things to finish up, and for some reason life tends to conform to his scheduling needs. I was a fingertip dilated at my 37 week checkup-- I have another appointment tomorrow so we'll see what happens. FYI, I was a fingertip dilated the day before I went into labor with my son, so I wouldn't put too much stock in that particular measurement.

    Basically, I kind of feel right now like this baby will be born sometime in May since that's when DH will finally be ready!! But that's OK, I am off work and just hanging out.

      DH has actually made it know at work that I could go anytime. In fact, when I call I have to make a point to tell his secretary that, no, I am not in labor, but, yes I do need to speak to him. He's get a few things on his schedule next week, but he said he's as ready as I am.

      But our financial advisor told us that next week would be a good time for him! LOL. We have meeting set up with him to go over some stuff later in the week. He joked that he'd call to keep tabs on me to see if we'll need to reschedule.
