Honey, just click here to order these for me!
Ah, but perhaps you are more the practical type? Then how about telling the kids to get you a little "ZooManu" for your garden?
The Valley Zoo is suggesting a rather unique gift for moms this Mother's Day - ZooManu, its exclusive blend of composted animal dung. The zoo will be flogging 20-pound bags of the ultimate fertilizer for $6.50. It says the Grade A-quality herbivore droppings are a great idea for green thumbs and weekend gardeners. "We sell it every year on the Mother's Day weekend. You'd be surprised how many people want it," said Leah Dunford, executive director of the Valley Zoo Development Society. "It's a unique gift and makes plants grow really well."
ZooManu is the droppings of elephants, zebras, camels and desert antelopes, composted with organic bedding material over several years.
Unfortunately, you'll need to be in Edmonton to take advantage of that exciting opportunity.
Okay, so jammies and zoo dung aren't your style? Tell me what is. C'mon in and start the wish list, MotherTalkers. And please be sure to provide links whereever possible, so we all can share!
