Plugging a friend's blog (Austin girl)

Wed Mar 28, 2007 at 02:11:34 PM PDT

So, per rule 2 up there, I'm not supposed to do this. But I think I can manage to write enough to make it not so one-liner-like.

I have a single mom friend, Jill, in Austin TX, who has her own blog. And damn, she writes really well! I know she's smart and all, but I didn't know she had such a knack for analyzing things so well. She draws cool metaphors and paralells and all that.

I've invited her (more than once, I think) here to MT, but while she's totally liberal - I suppose MT isn't the forum for everyone. Some folks wanna do it on their own.

So here's the link. http://www.thinkswansonthink.blogspo...

Calls herself Little Miss Patriot. I dig it! And she needs more visitors. And I think, deserves more.

She's got a great "voice" and style. Thanks for the recommend, and try again to persuade her to c'mon over to MT. We need more rational, respectful commenters!!

I like the war coverage. I will add her to our blogroll.

Hey, I have some details about the most likely date and location for the Kambo family benefit concert.

It is probably going to be at the Nutty Brown Cafe out on 290 toward Dripping Springs on Sat. April 29. Don't have a time yet and they are still working on finding musicians. I don't know anyone famous but I did meet Sara Hickman once, and she does alot of benefit stuff, so I emailed her out of the blue. No word back yet.

Well, thanks to my cool friend "cgisele12" for inviting me to MT and for plugging my blog-- to anyone who hasn't had the joy of meeting her in person, I just have to take a moment and vouch for her complete awesomeness.  I sometimes think she's the me that has ambition, drive, energy, extra boy and husband.  And then I go lay down.  :)

Just wanted to say thanks to all for the good vibes on my LMP blog, thanks for coming, I'll definitely write more now that someone reads it.

I'm getting my diary and profile and all set up, so come check that out!
