The Denver Broncos beat the San Diego Chargers 38-28 on the way to Elway's first
Superbowl victory.

I looked like this, packing 11 pounds of baby, and gamely waited until victory was in hand to utter, with a crampy grimace, "I think we should go."

At 12:25 and 12:27 a.m. on December 1st, the twins arrived--weeks before their December 25th due date--making the family Christmas card with only days to spare.

What a beautiful family you have! And you looked great with 11 lbs of baby! My second son was 12.36 lbs and right before he was born I looked like a moose compared to you and I only had one more pound of baby.

thanks for sharing this. My twins are now 23...they're my oldest children. And you do look great! I weighed only 103 lbs before I became pregnant with my twins...I gained more than 70 lbs during that pregnancy. I was so big that at one point, a few weeks before they were born that my doctor thought I had a third one hiding in there somewhere! I spent the last two months of that pregnancy on bedrest with the last month of that being in the hospital.

Easy delivery, even though I was stuck with the OB-From-Hell. My water broke, and within an hour and a half, both babies were here. Guess it was a good thing I was in the hospital as its debatable as to whether or not I would have made there had I been home...ironically, I was scheduled to be discharged from the hospital later that afternoon as I had reached that magical 34 week mark.

  My only twins are the little ones in the pictures. They are ten today. The rest are 23, 17, 14, 12. 3 boys, 3 girls.

How many cakes are you having today?

We always did two ice cream cakes, lobster and steamers for my sister and my dad (same birthday).

Oh yeah, I've been thinking a lot about the allure of Spencer's since your last diary. I haven't thought about that store in years, but I can picture it and I was almost dating and things were quite interesting in there.

I love the pictures too. There's really something to that old adage of time flying... I swear. Mine will be 5 in January and the other 8 in April. It seems like yesterday that I was bringing them home from the hospital.
