kids are facing enormous pressures if they want to get into Name colleges.  Most of them are so busy building the kind of resumes the Name colleges want that they don't have time to work (or sleep).

I read today that it should ease up around 2015.  I was disappointed because I read earlier it would be 2012, which is when DS will graduate H.S.  OTOH, I don't think the pressures are as great for kids who are trying to get into good (but not great) schools.
