I've been scratching my head as prices have continued to rise. Only a few months ago we were paying roughly $2.75 or less and now prices around here have just cracked $4. Yes the prices shock me, but what also shocks me is how fast the prices have gone up. Why? I read an article on MSN last week that discussed the fact that the demand continues to rise. Oil comsuption in developing countries like China and Inda have risen as they become more industrialized. And places like the US continue to increase our comsumption as well while the amount of oil produced has stayed the same. I'll have to try to find the article and post a link. It was very interesting.
