First one after 24 hours of labor, 20 of them without drugs.  So much for my natural birth.  They felt DS was in distress, so they said they were "taking the baby."  I was so delirious at that point, I wasn't even sure what they meant.  I pretty much passed out as soon as they prepped me.  Then he had meconium all over him, so my poor DH, who had left the room during the c-section portion of our birthing class, got to see them cut me open and take a baby covered in green slime out of my tummy.  He's a trooper.

Second was planned.  I walked into the OR, and DS was born 15 minutes later.  It was SO much better than the first time.  I had almost no pain with either one, and recovery wasn't bad.
