  • I kept my name...I think (0 / 0)

    I live in Indiana - hence the username - but we got married in Kentucky.  I was told later that by Kentucky state law your last name is automatically changed to that of your husband - do you have any idea if that is true?  I use my maiden name for everything, but wonder if legally my name has been changed.

      But it seems vaguely familiar that someone may have told me that once. I did have to run around everywhere to change my name on everything, so I doubt that it was automatic.
