  • After my first pregnancy, (0 / 0)

My body really didn't look outwardly as if I'd ever been pregnant other than the stretch marks.  When I became pregnant again, however, I really, really noticed the difference.  With that first pregnancy, every thing just felt tighter and more supported, if that makes sense.  The next pregnancy?  Not so much.

    • agreed.... (0 / 0)

My first pregnancy...no stretch marks, bounced back to pre-baby weight by nine months, and no lingering bulges. Second baby? I've got stretch marks, and my belly is still wider than the jean size makers say it should be! I swear with the first pregnancy, your body is saying "It's okay, we can deal with this...it's all good...no problem." When you get pregnant again it screams "WTF?!!! Again? I give up!"

      • when pregnant, but before birth (0 / 0)

I read an interview with Jools Oliver (Jamie's wife) in one of the Laydee Mags in London. She said somewhere in it that she'd rather button her "mummy tummy" into her pants and have an extra dollop of cream in her hot chocolate than diet and exercise like a fiend. At the time, I laughed at the idea of buttoning a mummy tummy into my pants.

        Not anymore.
