running ain't the be-all and end-all. I like running because for many years when we were cash-strapped for gym membership, I could run and it fitted well into my life. But there are many ways to get a fit body, and it sounds like you're doing great, C!

  Thanks mate. The encouragement is appreciated. But I felt so good and capable when I was running. I think the key is to get me an iPod. Mother's Day is coming... That way I won't be quite so lonely when I run. :)

    While I'd love the Nike+ system that only goes with the nano, I love my shuffle. I see them on sale at Harvey Norman et al for around $65, so that's not a bad deal at all.

      I love me some gadgets...the Nike+ system is awfully tempting. Maybe I'll just tell the husband and leave it up to him (he's a total gadget head...). :)
