  • congratulations on your new job! (0 / 0)

    What will you be doing?

    • thanks! (0 / 0)

I'll be a policy analyst at a think tank that works on social justice issues related to the state budget and low-income residents. My background is in journalism and the guy who hired me was looking for someone who could do research and could write well, so even though it's not a media job (which are hard to come by in Seattle) I think I'll be using the same skills.

      • that sounds awesome! (0 / 0)

Well done, Stacey. Will you let us know which think tank, or are you concerned about life/blog intersecting?

        • thanks Rachel! (0 / 0)

DH thinks I'm not supposed to write the name of my workplace on the internets so I guess I'm not going to say which one.

I'll let you all know how my transition from SAHM to WOHM goes. I don't actually start until June. I have one more blissful month with the kiddos. It's amazing how just knowing I'll be spending less time with them in the future has made me appreciate every moment with them now. Yesterday I spent eleven hours straight with my kids and barely batted an eye. In the past I would have been batty by the time DH got home.

May you have no bumps in the road between work and home.
