    for loving tripe.
Had to wiki it to find out what it was, and the descriptions made my eyes bug out of my head. 0_0  You are a brave and daring woman.

Its not daring if they feed it to you as a kid. I also ate alligator, turtle, rabbit, brains, liver, oysters, crabs... stuff that only seems exotic to feed a toddler in retrospect. My parents were very young, very adventurous eaters.

a mental thing with me. Something happened when I was pregnant for the first time - I developed the world's queaziest stomach. I swear I couldn't handle anything more adventurous than salad and oatmeal. I can remember eating wasna after my son's naming and almost barfing, even though I'd eaten it countless times before. I was forced into vegetarianism.

You can imagine what happened a couple of years ago after I accepted a double-dog-dare from my kids to eat frog's legs.

I'd forgotten! Yep. Add that to the list. Better than chicken wings in my opinion.

In high school actually (and this did not coincide with any pg) I became very queasy and finicky with food. That was when I became a vegetarian. Then when I did get pg (age 26) We were driving by a McDonalds and I forced my husband to cut across traffic so I could get a cheeseburger.

Now I'm more omnivirous with a lighter meat appetite with this pregnancy...

I swear for me its all hormonal!

Also, good on you for taking the occasional "double dog dare", especially from the kiddoes! Awesome!
