I wish I could blame it on pregnancy hormones! :-)

This movie is not based on "Enrique's Journey," which was written by my old friend Sonia Nazario. She retraced the journey of a 16-year-old boy from Honduras to Florida, where his mother was, and won a Pulitzer for it. But the movie certainly deals with the same issue.

I had heard that HBO was going to do a movie version of "Enrique's Journey" but I don't know what the status is.
