  • we kind of switch it up... (0 / 0)

we've only had four for 9 mos. now, but it's changed a few times as the baby has grown.  since my oldest is 9, he loves to read to his younger siblings, so that can help while we deal with the other two.  we all (sammy, dh & i) do the whole bedtime routine for the younger three from 7:45-8:30, and then spend some time with sammy alone.  in a way, it's easy right now, since we can read 10 board books in about 15 minutes and that's all the two youngest need, though charlie is starting to like stories now too.  i think next year when maya & sammy are both in school, we'll do a toddler bedtime and then a school age bedtime.  hope that helps.  it was much tougher when the baby was little and constantly nursing and fussy at bedtime.  now it seems like a breeze!
