Comments: Expand Shrink Hide (Always) | Indented Flat (Always)
I don't use a compost bin because we have such a small back area (I must do this gardening thread this weekend!), but I use a bokashi bucket, which processes scraps via fermentation. No odor, no problem with pests, and it works very well in a compact area. Plus, the "nutrient tea" that comes of makes a fantastic plant food. You should see my flowers and tomatoes! The only downside is that you have to keep buying the special fermented bran that processes the scraps; that's about $15 for a bag that lasts about 6-8 weeks. But it's worth it to me!!!
