  who the H Optimus Prime was until we got the toy at Burger King. My kids have only learned about Transformers through pop culture osmosis, too. They haven't seen the movie and have seen only brief Youtube clips of the cartoon.

    OMG, we had so many Transformers toys as kids. Some secondhand, but my bro got a huge Optimus Prime for Christmas one year. And we watched the cartoon movie a zillion times. I'm 27. They were second only to He-Man. But we never watched the cartoons, or any of the He-Man stuff. We just liked the toys.

      Transformers was way after my time (I'm 40). I remember He-Man and She-Ra because of my much younger cousin, but the Transformers were just not part of my world at all.
