More awesomeness from the Mombian blog: Rhode Island is one step closer to marriage equality. A bill passed the state House and is now before the Senate. The governor there, Lincoln Chafee, has promised to sign it if it passes the Senate.
And now I am off to Las Vegas for work. I will be in the audience for President Obama’s announcement on immigration reform! I’ll be back home tomorrow evening.

So as of yesterday dd is rejecting breastmilk in a bottle. Just in time for my return to work. Argh!!!
blah – sorry she’s giving you a hard time, just when you are getting ready to go back to work!
Is the bottle? My DD did the same thing. She had taken a bottle fine and then started rejecting it. I bought every different bottle and finally found one that she would take.
Going to try a different kind but she used to like the old ones fine. She’s also refusing the paci so I think it’s a phase…she’s almost 3 months old and bottles are somewhat infrequent for her. Till now. Sigh.
Booo. Here’s hoping this is just temporary.
aaaargh – one consequence of dry/cold weather is very tender skin – I now have cuts on BOTH thumbs – one from a piece of foil I picked up on the kitchen counter and one from the edge of my cell phone that I picked up funny. Neither SHOULD have cut my skin, but they did.
Youch! What a pita to deal with! Or pitf, rather.

No cavities at the dentist this morning for the kiddos, not a bad way to start the week. Other than that not much to report here.
I got to hold and calm a screaming baby, and got him to sleep in my arms. My nephew, who’s 7 weeks old and SO STINKING ADORABLE.
